Traits

Okay, traits are basically things that are decided at birth for every player, all they do is give you a little boost in certain area's. You'll have a random chance at getting either a 'normal' trait eg. Genius, which is special t no one if you catch my drift, a 'village' trait, eg. The Will Of Fire, special to Leaf village, or a 'Clan' trait, eg. Sharp Mind, which would be special to genjutsu users or something... You should understand by now ;]

If you want to suggest a single trait, please post in this thread, if you've made a whole big list of traits, then please make another thread, i'll lock threads if they get added to this list which will start once people start commenting!

Quick template -
Trait type - General/Clan/Village
Trait name - Whatever you want o.o
Effect on player - Whatever it does!


Trait list - Merchant

Trait type - General
Trait name - Studier
Effect on player - Gives 5 int, but your str goes down by 1!

Trait type - General
Trait name - Massive Chakra
Effect on player - Ur Born with 1-3k Chakra

Trait type - Clan
Trait name - Burden of No Clan
Effect on player - 2 Strength and 2 Stam But Lose 100 Chakra and 1 less nin and gen

Trait type - Village
Trait name - Born with the will of Fire
Effect on player - You get maybe get an extra Boost when raising each stat

Trait type - Village
Trait name - Born Assassin
Effect on player - get an extra nin and Spd when raising stats

Trait type - Clan
Trait name - Solve Survier of my Clan
Effect on player - You get a Extra gen Boost when raising ur Stats

Trait type - General
Trait name - Born Failure
Effect on player - You get an 2 strength and nin but Lose 2 gen and intel

Youth
non clan
Born in leaf village

They receive:

Faster Speed

The ability to master gates Faster

Receives Extra Stats when it is distributed on Tai & speed

Receives a bigger boost from any other clan or non clan members in gates

Gates doesn't kill u as fast as with any other clan ( should drain like ems but a little faster)

When Sp r distributed on Stam u get Extra hp but little amount of chakra

Trait type - Clan
Trait name - HIdden Demon
Effect on player:
Gives you extra Tai
increases your walking speed
Invisible/camoflaugh techs last longer
While invisible they gain a 1.3x tai boost

Trait type - Leaf
Trait name - Will Of Fire
Effect on player - When on low hp you have a chance of hitting critical damage
What It says when your born- You will never betray your comrades... And you'll put your life on the line !

Trait type - Mist
Trait name - Demon
Effect on player - Capable of striking critical damage after a killing spree (3 players + )
What It says when your born- You thrust for blood your a killer !

Trait type - Non Clan
Trait name - Sensory type
Effect on player - With the ability to locate anyone on the same map,chakra lvls and elements

EXAMPLE
Madara
Elements: Raiton & Suiton
Location:30 tiles south,25 west
Below 50% Chakra
What It says when your born- Your able to sense peoples chakra's around you !

Trait type - Non Clan
Trait name - Elemental Specialist
Effect on player - After mastering both elements (& not getting fusion) you have a chance of learning a 3rd element, however earning elemental control will be ALOT harder & you'll only learn half the 3rd element jutsu
What It says when your born-You can manipulate a third element !


Trait type - Everyone
Trait name - Genjutsu expert
Effect on player - After leveling you'll receive a bonus 2 points that go to genjutsu
What It says when your born- You sense that your chakra is normal.

Trait type - Everyone
Trait name - Strategist
Effect on player - You can predict the opponents moves sometimes
What It says when your born- Think strategically or you may die =P

EXAMPLE
You notice Madara's hand signs and you notice he's going to preform Madara No Jutsu!

Trait type - Everyone
Trait name - Rasengan clones x_x ?
Effect on player - You have the ability to use rasengan with your clones !
What It says when your born- Your pretty good with bunshins =)

Trait type - Non Clan
Trait name - Kakzu
Effect on player - Ability to gather hearts after 100 kills !
What It says when your born- You have a taste for blood ... Almost like your immortal ...

Trait type - Sand
Trait name - Puppets
Effect on player - Able to manipulate puppets (puppet prof without getting puppet prof ._.)
What It says when your born- Strange... You have a pair of basic puppets and some chakra threads in your inventory.

Trait type - Non Clan
Trait name - Medic
Effect on player - Ability to heal every part of your body at once if your above 50% hp(Like heal gate but has a massive cool down and requires alot of chakra) (used by kabuto)
What It says when your born- You have a knack for medic ninjutsu.

in my idea you get sensory type things by raising chakra control, and that idea was accpted by storm so its mostlikely gonna be in

i think elemental specialist could be able get 3rd element withouth losing jutsus from others, but this trait should be rare, and you can master only 1 element, so no one can master both elements

I've been reading over all the posts in this thread and it seems like alot of you have missed the point.

all they do is give you a little boost in certain area's

So I'll just point out a few. Things like learning a 3rd element or Movement speed are not a little boost.
having a player run around at double the original movementspeed is broken, and many people will complain about this.
Plus iirc isnt this movement speed thing the Greenbeast Weights?
Also a few of you posted about gaining another element, again that makes things unbalanced, i mean people qq over others having a fusion element which is technically having a 3rd element. Would you really be ok with someone running around with Katon,Fuuton and Raiton? The old rinnegan was given the ability to have all 5 elements and that was supreme broken, you guys will be ok with letting many others run around with 3 of the 5? and still have a chance of fusing, in turn giving the said player 4 elements !? thats seriously broken.
A little boost, is stat increments, or having the ability to level up element control faster than others. Those are little boosts, what you guys are asking for are things that verge on the boundaries of Specials.

who would give such massive boost x-x xD but i was thinking if they got a 3rd element fusion isnt possible and they only get 50% of the third element aaaaaand it would be harder to train ._. but i guess my ideas are more specials then traits XD
